Beyond Happily Ever After

The World of Heroes and Villains is Amanda Lee’s fantasy franchise set in the world of The Midlands. The Briarhart Chronicles is its main series. The First Fracture is a separate novel within the franchise, outside the main series storyline. Taramul is one of its continents, home to kingdoms, bloodlines, extraordinary creatures, and magic shaped by intent. Here, the line between hero and villain is rarely as simple as a title.

The First Fracture continues beyond Cinderella’s familiar story, following Ariane Lioraine as she seeks to reclaim her family’s standing. This website is a companion to the series: a place to meet its characters, explore its landscapes, and follow the world as it grows.
