Mira is the central character of The Briarhart Chronicles. Raised as a commoner by her uncle in the coastal town of Loorindi, she knows the everyday world of Maraquam rather than the privileges of a royal court.
Her life connects to the Nimble Cat, where her friendship with Iridia grows into a bond as close as sisterhood. The people who raise and stand beside her form the heart of her introduction to the series.
